Sirus Automotive is pleased to announce the launch of four new wheelchair-accessible vehicles based on the all-new Ford Grand Tourneo Connect. His four new options for drivers and prepaid passengers are now available in Motability Scheme.

The new Ford Grand Torneo Connect was developed as part of a partnership between Ford and Volkswagen. Engineering and manufacturing are led by Volkswagen, working closely with Ford’s design team. Volkswagen will manufacture the Torneo Connect at its Poznań plant in Poland alongside the Volkswagen Caddy.

How is the Ford Grand Tourneo Connect different from the VW Caddy?

Ford has a wider and more prominent radiator grille flanked by headlights with integrated C-shaped LED daytime running lights. Inside, the vehicle features a new instrument panel design featuring Ford’s signature Ford steering wheel, new seat trims and new wood grain pattern on the door trims. The Ford engine is shared with the new Caddy, his 1.5-liter turbocharged gas engine of 114 bhp (85 kilowatts).
