Accessible holiday provider Hoe Grange Holidays has received an award from the UK’s leading charity for people with autism for providing autism friendly environmental services.
Owners David and Felicity Brown Ho Grange Vacations Awarded the Autism Friendly Award by National Autism SocietySince our inception in 2006, inclusivity has been at the heart of our holiday business. Our four wheelchair-accessible log cabins are designed for everyone’s access and will make you feel right at home. The Autism Friendly Award is a valuable development as David and Felicity continually strive to improve their facilities.
This is just one of the awards the holiday provider has won in recent years, with Visit Peak District and Derbyshire Gold Awards in 2020.
This award recognizes the organization’s autism-friendly practices, including staff training, pre-booked visits, detailed accessibility guides, and 3D tours of accommodations. The cabins are also decorated in natural, muted colors to create a soothing and hypoallergenic environment.

The Autism Friendly Award is a leading accreditation program established by the National Autism Society to help companies create a more welcoming environment and play a role in making a difference in the lives of people with autism across the UK To do.
To win the Autism Friendly Award, businesses must meet set standards and follow the framework to demonstrate to their customers that they are providing an autism friendly environment and services. Over 300 organizations are currently accredited.
