Peyton Gendron, 19, drove three hours from his home near Binghamton, New York, to a Tops Friendly Markets store in Buffalo and opened fire with a semi-automatic assault rifle.
In court, he pleaded guilty to all charges against him, including murder, murder as a hate crime, and hate-motivated domestic terrorism with life imprisonment without parole.
Gendron also confirmed that three survivors were injured in attacks that took place in May this year.
He will spend the rest of his life in prison.
