Waka Kotahi said the line was back at Spaghetti Junction after Saturday night’s crash.

The South Auckland highway has been restored to full southbound capacity after a previous car crash that blocked several lanes of two vehicles and a motorbike.

The crash occurred in the southbound lane between the Market Road off-ramp and the Green Lane East off-ramp shortly after 7pm on Saturday.

A police spokesman said, “The motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries, but the occupants of one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries.”

The highway temporarily became two lanes southbound next to the Green Lane off-ramp.

Traffic was jammed up to Spaghetti Junction, but a Waka Kotahi spokeswoman said the network had eased congestion.
