Actor Tom Sizemore dies in his sleep weeks after brain aneurysm | Entz & Arts News

Actor Tom Sizemore died in his sleep in hospital weeks after suffering a brain aneurysm, his manager said.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of not only my client, but a great friend and mentor of nearly 15 years,” said Charles Largo.

“Tom was one of the most loyal, kind and generous people I have ever known.

“His courage and determination in the face of adversity has always inspired me.

“The last few years have been great for him and he’s getting his life back to a great place.

“He loved his sons and his family.

“I miss my friend Tom Sizemore.”

Sizemore, 61, suffered a brain aneurysm as a result of a stroke Early in the morning of February 18th, he collapsed at his home in Los Angeles before being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Since then, he has been in critical condition, comatose and in intensive care.

“Message of Support and Love”

He never regained consciousness, Lago said, adding that he died in his sleep with his brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger, 17, by his side.

“The Sizemore family has been comforted by the hundreds of messages of support and love that have been sent to their sons, brothers and fathers,” Lago said.

“They are asking for privacy during this difficult time and I hope those wishes will be respected.”

A private cremation service for the family is scheduled, along with a larger “celebration of a life event” scheduled in the coming weeks, Lago said.

On social media, License to Kill and The Goonies actor Robert Davi paid tribute to Sizemore and said he was “sad” to hear the news.

“His family has my prayers – Tom and I were friends who knew his suffering and his struggles with addiction – he was a great talent – so many families have been affected by this disease.” We are suffering from grief and tragedy and we are not enough!!”

‘Spoiled Movie Stars’ and ‘Arrogant Fools’

Sizemore rose to stardom in the movies ‘Natural Born Killers’ and ‘Heat’, then went on to star in blockbusters like ‘Saving Private Ryan’ and ‘Black Hawk Down’.

However, he struggled with addiction during his acting career and was arrested multiple times for driving and drug possession while under the influence.

He has also been arrested multiple times for domestic violence, including one against his convicted girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.

Sizemore was also the subject of two workplace sexual harassment lawsuits related to the 2002 CBS show Robbery Homicide Division.

In his 2013 memoir, he wrote that success had turned him into a “spoiled movie star,” an “arrogant fool” and a “death addict.”
