A pregnant woman and her foetation were killed in a clash after the driver escaped from an EMS worker who woke him up while driving.
The tragedy happened in Clayton County, GeorgiaOn Sunday, a pregnant mother, another child, and a fleeing driver all died.
According to police, paramedics approached a parked pickup truck and woke up a driver who appeared to be sleeping on wheels around 1:30 am.
When the driver woke up, he was surprised and seemed to rush away from the crew.
After a while, police received a call that the same truck was involved in a nearby accident.
The truck hit a car with men, women, children and dogs head-on.
According to Clayton County Police spokeswoman Sgt, when police arrived at the scene, they found the pickup driver dead. Julia Isaac.
According to Isaac, all the men, pregnant women and children in the second vehicle were taken to a local hospital.
The man driving the car is still in crisis, but the woman, foetation and other children have died injured.
It is unknown at this time whether the dog was harmed in the accident.
Isaac Told KHQ On Monday, the victims were identified as Brandy Shelly Gill (34) and her son Christian McDonald (8).
Rashad Robert Louis, 33, a man driving a car, remains hospitalized.
The crash is currently under investigation.
