Lidl has launched a new “Best Time to Shop” feature on the Lidl Plus Loyalty App in the UK. This allows shoppers to view real-time shopper numbers and avoid congestion.
Users of the Lidl Plus app will be prompted to enter their local store in the bar at the top of the home page.
[買い物に最適な時間]When you find the nearest store on the tab, shoppers will see a bar chart showing how many shoppers were in the store during each transaction time, regardless of the day of the week.
According to Lidl, the busiest hours are shown in blue and the quietest hours are shown in green, both updated in real time.

Almost a year after Lidl launched an online chatbot via WhatsApp, customers can avoid peak shopping at local stores.
A similar service, launched as a trial in Ireland last May, allows shoppers to send a message to Lidl via a Facebook-owned app to let chatbots know when to visit.
Supermarkets are posted on LinkedIn, and chatbots tell you if this is generally quiet, average, or busy.
Lidl Plus, Lidl’s loyalty app, was launched in the UK in September, a few months after it was released to Irish shoppers.
The app offers a digital scratch card every time a shopper makes a purchase, offering prizes from 25p to £ 20.
Every week, Lidl Plus users will be offered a new “single use coupon” that offers up to 25% off selected products.
