Multiple British news sites are reporting that England head coach Gareth Southgate has decided to stay on after losing to France in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Southgate are under contract until 2024, but after losing 2-1 to France, He took time to see if he wanted to continue in the role.

The Times and Daily Telegraph now report that Southgate has decided to stay, but the Press Association reports that the Football Association (FA) has declined to comment on the report.

Sky Sports News said it confirmed the newspaper report, suggesting Southgate would “inform the FA of his decision before Christmas.”
