Two people were killed after the crash at the intersection of Christchurch.

Police confirmed that two people had died at the scene after a car crash at Halswell Junction Boulevard near the intersection of Shanes Boulevard at about 7:40 pm last night.

A police spokesman said there were four outbreaks in the car.

Two died and the other was taken to the hospital in critical and serious condition.

Two occupants of the womb were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The road was closed during the investigation of the scene last night, but then opened.

This is the second crash in the area with multiple deaths in the last few weeks.
