Pete Wicks warns against being fooled by scammers disguised as him to get information from his followers.
Twee’s star, 32, took him to Instagram to break rumors that he was arranging a “dinner party” with a group of fans of his choice.
When a skeptical believer sent a message to him asking if the request was legal, Pete was forced to act by sharing a screen grab on Instagram.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case-and it’s happening so much that he didn’t set the record straight to stop the victims.
He writes: “Yes … I’ve received a lot of messages from me as a” special fan “asking for dinner. It’s not me.
“Please do not give details or reply. The email address they are using is not mine.”
On his second grab, he shared an email titled DINNER INVITATION that someone received.
“Thank you for your love and support. I hope you never stop loving me. You mean the world to me,” the message read.
“The reason I send you a message is because you have been chosen as one of the fans to have dinner with me. If you are interested, please send me a notification.
“Faithfully, Pete Wicks.”
“As happy as you are, this is like people are sending out,” the real Pete writes below. “It’s not me.”
The scam occurs after Pete reveals where he stood with former Chloe Sims after being found looking closer again.
However, despite leaving the NTA armed, Twee’s pair remains “close friends” with Pete, saying their romance was “past.”
He told only the sun, “We are as good as gold. We have done some shoots together. We are all so laughing, so with Chloe and Diag. I love to shoot.
“Everything is good. We have known each other for a long time and have experienced so many things that we are happy to have fun and be friends.
“No embarrassment. Chloe is amazing. She is one of the closest people to me except Rocky.
“So it’s great that I and she can spend time and enjoy together,” he added.
