Topshop announces new full collection at Asos once online migration is complete-latest retail technology news from around the world

Asos announced the first new Topshop and Topman product range on the platform when the official online renewal was completed.

After rescuing the boulevard giant in a £ 295m deal three weeks ago, Asos sold the old stock at a discounted price and informed the customer, “Please wait. The complete collection is coming soon …” I’ve been doing it.

A complete collection of Topshop and Topman has arrived. This was only a few days after Asos displayed its own headline banner on each home page and announced that “Topshop has officially become the ASOS brand!”.

Asos has been selling items from various brands since 2019, but now it has doubled the number of items available and will double again in the coming weeks.

Asos is driving a lot of new acquisitions, launching multi-million pound campaigns on YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram, highlighting the brand on a platform that is more like a merger than an acquisition.

“Topshop and Topman were strong brands with a reputation at Asos before the acquisition. We know that our customers loved them as much as we do,” said Asos Chief Commercial Officer. Said José Antonio Ramos.

“The integration with ASOS is on track, and our long-term plan to revitalize and bring the brand to life will lead to newer, more exciting and fashion-driven products coming out in the coming months. . “

The campaign offers UK, US and German customers a 25% off Topshop and Topman range, which seems to be the focus of online fashion rivals.

Pretty Little Thing, owned by rival Boohoo, acquired various Arcadia brands during the collapse and launched sponsored Google Ads in hopes of seducing shoppers looking for a new Topshop home.

The heartwarming ad that appeared at the top of Google’s search results when someone searched Topshop yesterday read, “Well, this is terrible-we never leave you.” ..
