Southampton [UK], June 11 (ANI): With seven days left until the final of the World Test Championship (WTC), Team India has left no stones to prepare for the summit clash with New Zealand.
India and New Zealand will lock the horn in the WTC final at the Asias Bowl in Southampton starting June 18.
As part of their preparation, Team India is currently playing a match within the team to enter the ditch ahead of the WTC final.
The Indian Cricket Management Board (BCCI) on Friday shared some photos from the setup where players were seen touring violently during the match.
“A snapshot of the first session of an in-team match simulation here in Southampton,” BCCI tweeted.
Preparations for Virat Kohli and the boys are in full swing for the WTC final. BCCI shared a glimpse from Team India’s “High Intensity” training session early Thursday.
The Indian cricket team landed in Southampton on June 3, after which all members of the touring delegation were subject to three days of forced quarantine. In the Hampshire Bowl, players were retested before starting a controlled quarantine period. Regular inspections are conducted during the quarantine period.
