Avanti Finance Appoints Chief Risk Officer

Avanti Finance appoints Olivia Meo Grouser as Chief Risk Officer, who has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and Europe.

At Avanti Finance, Meo-Groser ensures regulatory and legal compliance, leads the risk management function and ensures legal advice is delivered across all areas of the business. She is also responsible for the company’s strategic, operational, financial and compliance risks.

She will join the executive team to support and advance Avanti’s goals and growth through leadership of the Credit Risk and Enterprise Risk functions.

She joined Avanti Finance from Ham Group where she served as New Zealand General Counsel and Head of Operational Risk and General Manager of Business Performance at the Group level. In these roles, she led several significant business transformation projects related to product governance and performance in both New Zealand and Australia. Before she joined humgroup, she held various legal advisory roles.
