Sally [UK], June 11 (ANI): Surrey County Cricket Club (CCC) has signed a short-term contract with New Zealand pacemaker Kyle Jamieson. High-speed bowlers will join the club after the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) with India.
Jamieson will be able to face Middlesex in the T20 Blast match at Kia Oval on June 25th and will remain on the team until the final group match.
Jamieson will also be in the final two county championship group stages, July 4-7 against Hampshire in the Asias Bowl, and July 11-14 against Somerset in Kia Oval. You can participate. This is the first time he has played in English domestic cricket.
“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to play cricket after the BLACKCAPS tour. At first I didn’t expect this opportunity on this year’s schedule, but as things progressed, It’s great to be able to participate. Experience both Sally and the T20 and First Class Cricket, “Jamieson said in an official statement.
“Playing cricket is something I’ve always wanted to do in my career, so it’s great to have the opportunity to do it now.
“I’ve heard a lot of great things about cricket, especially the T20 Blast Night in Kia Oval. I can’t wait to have the opportunity to learn and grow with Sally while doing my best to contribute to the team. Hmm. “Success,” he added.
Since making his test debut against India last year, the 6’8 inch seamer has averaged 15.15 and has won 39 wickets in just seven games.
He also has 51 of the best test innings scored against the West Indies in Wellington last December. In the wider first class cricket, his average is about the same, 21.51 for the ball and 21.13 for the bat.
His impressive performance in his country caught the attention of the IPL franchise, and Jamieson finally signed the Royal Challengers Bangalore for £ 1.48 million. This is the fourth highest price ever paid in the competition of foreign players.
Jamison came after Australia’s Sean Abbott was forced to return home after damaging his hamstring at his club debut last month, and pace bowler Kemal Roach returned to the West Indies to represent his country. (Ani)
