Disneyland Resort has been open since the end of April, but theme park resorts are moving much faster to return to normal, much faster than other parks that opened earlier. We already knew that tomorrow, June 15th, would be a big day at Disneyland Resort. It is officially marked as the day when the California economy will “restart.” Out-of-state guests are now able to visit Disneyland, and the park has further confirmed that vaccinated guests do not need to wear masks.
Fully vaccinated guests do not need a mask indoors or outdoors. However, there is no confirmation of vaccination status and you will be asked to prove that you are in compliance with the rules, which may apply. The only exception is when traveling on Disneyland’s official transportation. Toy Story parking will reopen on June 18th. Once reopened, all guests must wear a mask when traveling by bus between the parking lot and the park, regardless of vaccination. This is the same way the rules are currently working at Walt Disney World.
More coming …
It seems that Disneyland has taken the first step to return to normal as the mask policy has changed for the first time.
