The undefeated boxing star Musa Yamak died in the ring in the middle of a fight.
The Turkish fighter jet collapsed in shocking scenes during a clash in Munich on Sunday.
The match was broadcast live to the public.
The 38-year-old died of a heart attack, according to Turkish official Hasan Turan.
He was in the middle of a match against Ugandan veteran Hamza Wandera when he collapsed early in the third round.
The video of the horror incident shows that Yamak received a big blow from Wandera in the second round that afflicted him, according to the Sun.
Yamak was able to sit on his stool at the end of the round, but collapsed as he left a minute later.
Doctors flooded the ring to give him first aid and rejuvenate him.
Yamak was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead of a heart attack on arrival.
A Munich police spokesman told BILD: “Rescuers saw disturbing scenes of emotionally charged fans and family members on the spot.
“To ensure the safety of paramedics, we sent many patrol cars.
“Then we created a protective corridor on the spot, so that paramedics can work safely and conscientiously.”
Germany-based Yamak had an unbeaten 8-0 record, with all his victories coming by knockout.
He only became a professional in 2017, but made a splash last year after winning the WBFed international title.
The Turkish member of the Turan government earlier confirmed the tragic news.
“We lost our compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, a boxer from Alucra, who won European and Asian championships at a young age after a heart attack,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I wish God’s mercy to the deceased, whom we met at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey when he came to Ankara for the competition, and my condolences to the grieving family and his fans.”
