(HealthDay News)-Lactose is an enzyme commonly found in milk and other dairy products. It’s also added to many non-dairy products, which is bad news for those who can’t digest the enzyme properly.The state is known as Lactose intolerance..

According to the American College of Gastroenterology, foods that may contain lactose include:

  • Baked goods such as bread and processed breakfast cereals.
  • Breakfast food, drink And instant potatoes.
  • Lunch meat other than margarine and kosher.
  • Seasonings such as salad dressings.
  • Snack foods such as candies.
  • A mix of cookies, pancakes and biscuits.
  • Powdered instant meal.
