The retired Detroit Police Department plans to vie for what Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer calls poor “leadership” during the pandemic.
Former Detroit Police Department chief James Craig said he would launch “Governor’s Investigation Commission Chief James Craig” on Wednesday to run as a Republican candidate in the state against the Democratic incumbent.
In Tucker Carlson’s story tonight, Craig blamed Whitmer for her poor leadership during the pandemic, saying that without him there would be more violence in Detroit.
“I know what happened when Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit didn’t burn last year,” he said of George Floyd’s posthumous protest.
Craig, a 44-year veteran of the Detroit Police Department from Detroit, said he had “protected and served” for Detroit for decades, with eight years as chief, and did the same in other parts of Michigan. I want to
Republicans said Whitmer’s leadership omissions led to many problems afflicting state small business owners.
“I can’t help thinking of small businesses suffering from a pandemic, and now we want to give what Craig called” distributions and businesses can’t even hire employees. ” I am thinking.
“I’m running, I have to tell you, because when I see politicians across the country, when I see Governor Whitmer, she follows different rules-she just does.”
“This is about leadership-you can’t rob me of it-I’m a fighter.”
