Customer-centric office challenges the work-from-home trend – NZ Entrepreneur Magazine








Award-winning financial advisor and broker takes his customer service strategy to the next level, spending 10 months transforming a former hair salon in Auckland’s Victoria Park into a luxurious workspace for loyal customers I was.

As many companies pursue work-from-home (WFH) strategies, Alex Wang Creating a working environment that a home office can’t achieve is betting that it’s only good for business.

With the help of concept and interior design studio Wonder, filled with modern art and perks, Wang said he wanted to create shared spaces that help clients grow.

“Many of our clients are small business owners and not all of them have dedicated office space. We made our meeting room available: a space to work in. I designed it with them in mind and I want them to feel welcome,” he explains.

Office renovations are a passion project for Wang, and he happily rolls up his sleeves on weekends to clear concrete, sand wood, and clean spaces. Wang also brought his own collection of art, books, sculptures, and lighting into the space, creating a welcoming and homely environment for those who use it.

The space showcases several pieces from his personal collection, including works by Gorden Walters, Claudia Kogachi, and KAWS.

The office is spread over two floors, with three meeting areas including private meeting rooms and dining areas located on the mezzanine level with stunning views of the Sky Tower.

Wang says he wanted to create a boutique experience that reflected the brand.

“What sets us apart is our commitment to providing a personalized service to every customer, from the moment they engage with us to the moment they pay.

“We have created a boutique end-to-end lending experience to work with our clients at every stage of their journey. We hope that it will improve the overall customer experience,” said Wang.

Wang’s number one tip for building a loyal and satisfied customer base is to pay attention to every customer.

“We understand that leasing or buying real estate can be stressful for many families and businesses, but it can be a significant milestone. We care about the goals and lives of each of our customers, and work as a financial partner to help them realize their dreams.
