FMG welcomes new CEO on Christmas

Local insurance company FMG has announced that it has found a new CEO who will begin its role on December 20th.

Adam Heath He is currently Executive General Manager of Insurance Solutions at Suncorp New Zealand and is responsible for the Vero brand non-life insurance portfolio.

FMG’s current 13-year CEO, Chris Black, will continue to play that role until Heath begins.

“We are thrilled to have Adam’s talented people with a strong background in general and life insurance, banking and telecommunications,” said Tony Clerand, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FMG. Says.

“In addition to this, Adam is a leader who empowers the people around him, shares FMG values, and empathizes with mutual models and the rural sector.

“We know that Adam is perfect for FMG and can lead the organization to the next chapter,” says Clerand.

Heath says he has long admired FMG as an iconic New Zealand and country brand.

“It’s already a very successful and well-run organization, and what impressed me was that I didn’t rely on its glory in that regard.

“It has an ambitious growth strategy and wants to make further improvements to support its clients and members in an increasingly digital world.
