The first mortgage manager, Chairman Michael Smith, said Boyd brings outstanding governance and commercial experience to the board.

“I’m really happy that Kylie has joined the board.

“Kylie has over 16 years of commercial law experience and over 10 years of governance experience, and has very strong commercial law, analytics, and risk management skills.”

Boyd is a former partner of Sharp Tudhope Lawyers and has worked with large and small for-profit companies across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, exports, horticulture, software development and financial services.

Boyd holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and an LLB (Honors Degree) from the University of Auckland.

Tony Kinzett, CEO of First Mortgage Trust, states that Boyd complements the board well.

“First Mortgage Trust is in a very good location.

“We are New Zealand’s first non-bank mortgage lender and recently named Best New Zealand Non-Bank of the Year by NZ Advisors.

“Kylie’s contribution to the board of directors is of immense value to the entire team as it continues to grow and strengthen its presence and reputation among investors, borrowers, and the wider financial community. I know. “
