opinion:

Starting January 17, approximately 500,000 kiwi children aged 5 to 11 will be eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine.

This is great news. Especially considering the rapid spread of Omicron

In fact, the Covid-19 vaccine is monitored for safety by the most comprehensive and powerful safety monitoring program in US history.

Children need two doses. Currently, these are recommended at 8-week intervals, but can be reduced to 21 days in certain cases, such as when a child is starting significant immunosuppressive treatment.

If you feel unwell, rest and drink plenty of water. If you have pain at the injection site, you can put a cold cloth or ice pack on it. If you are worried about your symptoms, see your GP or your GP.
