New Oakland mayor Wayne Brown has said of the specific amount of time he devotes to the job of leading Supercity, “It’s nobody’s job.”

On his first day at work on Sunday, Brown skipped media interviews to spend time with his family, but did find time for family photos and a few words with the Herald.
