Lifetime has a new chairman
Christchurch-based financial planning group Lifetime has a new independent chairman.

appointed by the group David Heinz As Independent Chairman of Lifetime Group Holdings and its subsidiaries.
CEO Peter Cave said the board was encouraged by the quality of candidates who applied and completed the selection process.
Haintz has extensive knowledge of global financial services, initially building a small independent advisory business in Melbourne, Australia before merging with 11 other advisory businesses in 2008 to form Shadforth Financial Group Ltd. formed and became one of Australia’s largest non-affiliated advisory businesses. Before being acquired by ASX-listed company IOOF Group in 2014.
During this time, he held both governance and senior management roles, including the ‘Head of Advice’ for private advisors to over 100 Group clients nationwide.
In 2015 he left Shadforth to found Global Adviser Alpha Pty Ltd, a private consulting firm helping global advice businesses become world class. This work puts him at the forefront of advisory trends across global markets and regulatory jurisdictions.
Haintz has a rich history in the professional financial planning community and was awarded Money Management Australia Financial Planner of the Year in 2005. Outstanding meritorious service is recognized for significant contributions to financial planning, business and community.
