Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India]21 January (ANI): Indian men’s hockey team midfielder Hardik Singh has been ruled out of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup in Odisha due to a hamstring injury.
Ahead of India’s pivotal crossover match against New Zealand on Sunday, Hockey India announced in a statement the replacement of midfielder Hardyk, who was injured during India’s match against England on 15 January. Currently excluded from the FIH Orissa Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar – Lurkela.
Hardik will be replaced by Raj Kumar Pal.
