Fisher gets KiwiSaver default status
Fisher Funds has confirmed that the Commerce Minister has confirmed that the manager’s newly acquired business will maintain KiwiSaver’s default status.

Many were concerned that the acquisition of Kiwi Wealth would restore status after Fisher Funds lost default status in its latest review.
McLachlan said: “While this was not the condition or intent of the acquisition, we welcome the decision as it gives both new and existing members confidence in their position.”
“We intend to continue to operate the Kiwi Wealth Default Fund as a separate entity and remain focused on working through 2023 through a seamless transition and integration of the two businesses.
